Spending time

If I want to learn more about a person I will not ask the person anything. I will ask the people they are associated with. On average we as adults have 3-4 close friends and many associates. Those 3-4 friends tell the world everything anyone would need to know about who you are. According to Harvard psychologist Dr. David McClelland those people are called your reference group and these people will determine 95% of your success or failure in life (Maxwell, 2014). Now that I have your attention, do a quick examination of who is in your “circle”. Take a moment to write their names down and the value they bring in your life. Do they have career, family, life, and fun goals? Do they value who they are? Are they positive, friendly, obedient, or courageous? Really think this over and let us know your thoughts. Remember if there is no value, you may need to rethink who is in your reference circle.
