Well this is it…

Hello Everyone and Happy 12/30!

Well here we are less than 48 hours to go. As I sat at my desk and wrote out my 2014 accomplishments (by the way I encourage you to do the same), I reflected back on the year I have had. There have been ups and many downs but as I viewed my list I noticed how much I accomplished. Therefore, I ask what is on your list?  What did you learn in 2014 that you can improve upon in 2015? What relationships grew stronger? How did you self-develop? Sure I could list all the negative things that happened this year in my life and there was a few such as getting laid off. I choose, however, to list a few of the GREAT accomplishments for this year. Here are some:

-Started blog in April
-Finished Master’s Degree
-Started G.E.D. Tutoring/Mentoring
-Read 41 books with a goal of only 12
-Taught my own material to various audiences

I share this not to brag but, to share a piece of me with the world and to simply encourage others. Write your 2014 accomplishments and share…

Thanks

What do you believe?

I recently read an article which stated some interesting facts about Warren Buffet. I found it interesting that he said that he knew he would always be rich and wealthy. People told him he would not but he never believed them for a second. So I ask you, what do you believe? James Allen said it best “As a man thinketh so is he”. What are you thinking? Are you going to be wealthy, rich, successful, healthy, spiritually whole, and happy? Or are you those things now? Here is some advice, start saying and writing what you want. Read and repeat it every day. Affirmations really do work. Affirmations tell your subconscious mind to store this information in expectations that it will happen. So start believing for what you want and start saying you have it! Your brain will look for it and the Law of Attraction will take place. It all starts with our believing.

Less than 30 days

Hello my faithful readers,

I will make this short and sweet. Yes, we have less than 30 days until 2015. Before you start to make your plans for the New Year ahead, what are your plans for the next 29 days or so? How are you going to finish strong? Here are some tips on achieving some small goals to be able to finish this year strong:

1. Make a list of things you need to finish/start. Start/finish a book, a cleaning project, working out ect.
2. Keep the list simple. What small thing can you do each day? Read 3 pages of the book…
3. Make a promise to yourself to do that small thing to achieve the goal.
4. On 12/31 relax and celebrate your small but big accomplishments of your finished work. Book halfway read.

Even though I have had better years, I am grateful and determined to finish strong in 2014 and I hope you are too.

Stay encouraged
