Hello
Readers,
I recently
watched a very good movie which involved the treatment of other human beings.
The movie showed how people are racially profiled not only for the color of
their skin but for the clothes they wear or who they hang around. Also I recently read a
story about how our First Lady Michelle Obama was treated by her roommate at
Yale. Her roommate did not want to be in the same room as Michelle so the roommate called her mother
to have Michelle moved to another room. Years later the mother of the roommate apologized for her behavior (I guess she never thought she would be the First
Lady). I think this is the issue, that sometimes we as a people (the human race)
do not think. We must be careful how we talk to others. Even I am guilty of it.
We have to make a conscience effort to show love to one another and put aside
our thoughts of negativity and look for the positive in all. Next time you
want to view someone as different from you, it is OK because they are different from you. So treat them as you want to be treated. You never know who you are speaking to.
Your
thoughts are welcome…
MJW
