PUSH!

This title is something I have to do on a daily basis. Sometimes I have moments of distractions and it seems like I am going no where fast. It is those very moments I am reminded it is the work that no one sees that counts. It is all the books I read. It is the constant renewal of my self. All of these efforts to PUSH my self are producing a fruitful story to share with the world. Everyone has a story. The late great Steve Jobs said it best " do not waste your time living someone else's life". Below are 5 pointers to help you PUSH:

-Learn to master the mundane. In the mundane task lies the creativity.
-Grinding and mundane work are BORING! So what just do it.
-Grind and work while everyone else is sleep.
-Do not crave the success of others create your own story.
-Think about what other people may have gone through. You have NO idea what they faced to create their story. All we see are their results. They PUSHED. That is it!

Library

Hello readers,

Short and sweet this week.. I am headed out for vacation

I just heard a great question. It was how big is your library? Wow! What a wonderful question. So I ask you, how big is your library? Sure I hear it all the time, I hate to read and I do not have time to read.. yadda yadda yadda.. I am a firm believer in you make time for what you want. I encourage you to start building your library this year. I promise you it will be one of the best investments you make and you can pass it down to your children and they will love you for it. Reading cannot hurt you. Anyone successful in life is a reader. Period. No if, ands, buts, or maybes about it. So what how big is your library?

Stretch and Learn

Hello Readers!

This year I have set quite a few goals to stretch myself. I am taking a couple of certifications, reading 50 books, and doing other fun things just to name a few. One goal I am stretching to achieve is completing studies of people and things. People are fascinating to me. We are all different and unique people with extraordinary capabilities. The first step I took was to go to my local library and checked out a book about different entrepreneurs. I have a friend who studies volcanoes, I also know someone who has studied how trees develop, just because.  Sooo.. why am I sharing this? The answer is simple. Here is a mantra I am living by this year and I encourage you to do the same:

“Sow where you want to grow, read where you want to lead, sow where you want to go, and read what you want to know.”

This power is in your hands. No one else is responsible for your success but YOU! If there is something you want to know about...  then DO IT!

Stretch yourself this year

10 Small Steps for the New Year

Happy New Year!

It is a new year. It is time for growth and change. I speak of growth and change because we as individuals should be growing on a daily basis. Small steps are what lead to success not big leaps. Here are 10 small steps to get your new year off to a great start:

1. Write it down! What do you want to accomplish this year? Get it on paper now!
2. Review what you wrote daily. What action steps are you doing to get you closer to what you want?
3. Read. Read anything that will add growth. Do you want to learn how to control your emotions? Read about emotional control. I think you get it…
4. Do not say I will lose 10 lbs, simply cut something small out from your diet and watch the difference it makes.
5. Relax! Seriously… Take time for yourself. The show will go on without you. Really it will!
6. Do something silly… Who cares what others think. Just do it.
7. Have a nothing day! These are some of the best days. Even if it is planned.
8. Have you written anything down yet? I say this again because it is that important.
9. Surround yourself around happy people.
10. Do not sweat the small stuff. Really. It is really small.

Enjoy and LIVE this year
