I am sure many of you are already making plans for 2016; however, let’s not forget we have 31 days left in December. How are you going to make it count? Start now, not in 2016. What goals do you have? What can be done in 31 days? See this list below to help start things off:

1. Organize your closet.
2. Create a workout and meal plan and follow it.
3. Create a business plan.
4. Write out goals for 2016.
5. Create a stop doing list.
6. Create a budget and follow it.
7. Read one book or two.
8. Write an article or start writing the book you wanted.
9. Take a day to relax other than Christmas day.

Another goal accomplished!

Hello Readers,

Yes I have accomplished another goal! I have completed my first of many 5k races. I say this not to brag or boast but to encourage. I want to motivate readers all over the world that yes you can achieve what you want to achieve. I am a firm believer in this. Yes of course I was nervous and worried about coming in last, but the in the end all I cared about was finishing. So here is the key message, stop worrying about starting, just start! Get in motion. I put one foot in front of the other and before I knew it I was done! Some of the best advice I have ever received was get in motion and stay in motion. You will eventually finish the race and the great part about finishing one race is you can start another one. What is it you need to start? Write it down and get to it! Start and before you know it you will be done. Remember it is your life to live, so live it!

Problem Solvers

Hello Readers,

Have you ever heard these phrases?

1. Some get it some don’t.
2. People are lucky.
3. They got the promotion but I did not.

I think you get the picture. All of these phrases and many others like them have one common denominator and that is YOU. As adults we CANNOT blame anyone for where we are in life. We are where we are because of the decisions we have made. We all get the same 24 hours in a day as Will Smith, The President, and Madonna just to name a few. Life is a choice. Yes I know things may not be the way we want them, but think about it, are we as adults ever satisfied? We achieve one goal and then we are off to achieve another goal. Why? Because we are problem solvers; we all have a unique ability to solve problems and help others. So please stop wasting time and blaming others. Use your talents and help others. Get out in the world and get busy. Stop waiting on the right time. Plan, Live, and Go. Remember someone is waiting on you to solve their problem, so do not keep them waiting.

Starting Anew

Hello Readers!

Have you ever heard the phrases “this is my new chance” or “this is a new opportunity for me”? I am sure you have. We all have probably said these same phrases at one time or another. But when you stop to think about it, isn't every day a new opportunity? Isn't every day a new chance to start anew? Sometimes we get caught up in what is going on and/or what's not going on we forget about what's in front of us and how to live. Here is some simple advice; stop right now and look at what's around you, what do you see? Do you see clothes on your body? Or your car in the parking lot? Let's take time to live in the moment and treat each minute as another opportunity to start anew. It takes one decision to start anew and that can be at any time you decide. The key word is YOU!

10 Small Steps for the New Year

Happy New Year!

It is a new year. It is time for growth and change. I speak of growth and change because we as individuals should be growing on a daily basis. Small steps are what lead to success not big leaps. Here are 10 small steps to get your new year off to a great start:

1. Write it down! What do you want to accomplish this year? Get it on paper now!
2. Review what you wrote daily. What action steps are you doing to get you closer to what you want?
3. Read. Read anything that will add growth. Do you want to learn how to control your emotions? Read about emotional control. I think you get it…
4. Do not say I will lose 10 lbs, simply cut something small out from your diet and watch the difference it makes.
5. Relax! Seriously… Take time for yourself. The show will go on without you. Really it will!
6. Do something silly… Who cares what others think. Just do it.
7. Have a nothing day! These are some of the best days. Even if it is planned.
8. Have you written anything down yet? I say this again because it is that important.
9. Surround yourself around happy people.
10. Do not sweat the small stuff. Really. It is really small.

Enjoy and LIVE this year

Let me know your thoughts…
