After the Employee is Hired: Now What?

Many instances after an employee team member is hired the job description is null and void as the new employee begins to learn their role as the demand is needed and not always according to the original job description. Human resources and organizational management should provide employee team members with independence in job and task design of their roles (Plomp, Tims, Akkermans, Khapova, Jansen, & Bakker, 2016). Allow the new employee to provide their own insight to the job role and tasks. All the employee to feel as if they belong from day one.
