Know the company

Hello Readers,

This will be a fairly short message because I want you to start your homework on this one. Yes I am giving you homework. Let me ask you this, when you are applying for a job or hoping to land a certain type of job, do you research the company? Do you know what year the company was established? Who is the C.E.O.? These are all simple questions you SHOULD know the answers to. During the interview process these questions may be asked or even better it is best if you study the facts you have researched and create your own questions. For this reason alone, we have created the Company Cheat Sheet. I recommend filling out this sheet for each company and position you desire. Once the sheet has been completed, the next step is to study your answers and be prepared to show what you have learned on the interview. Nothing impresses an interviewer more than the fact that an interviewee knows something about the company. It shows that you know how to study and research and that you do not mind learning. I would hire someone who is willing to learn and strive over someone who knows everything and not willing to grow. Think about it.

Your thoughts are always welcome…
