Earning a living and having a life is there a difference?

Yes there is!

Notice the key word that sticks out like a sore thumb "earn". Yes, you have to "earn" a living, meaning you will be paid a certain compensation based on certain unique set of skills you possess. If your set of skills is in a high demand then the compensation for those skills will be higher and the opposite stands true. Having a life is different. We can earn a living AND have a life. In fact your life should be in harmony with your desire to earning a living. Too many people earn a living and have yet to start living life. You have to define what “having a life is” for yourself. Here are a few tips to think about: 1.) A personal pursuit of excellence, 2.) Proper love of yourself and others, and 3.) and an evaluation of what you are spending your time on. Ask yourself are you enjoying your life? If not, then examine why. What is important to you? What do you cherish? The answers to these questions are a part of your make up and design. These questions are starters to help determine if you are “just” earning a living or living a life worth having.
